SafetySuite Overview

SafetySuite is an Occupational Health and Safety Management Information System designed to provide organisations with up-to-date information on their OH&S performance. It has been designed based on Total Risk Management Philosophy which recognises that managing risk is a blanket that covers all activities performed in an organisation, and therefore can't be adequately managed in an isolated manner.

SafetySuite uses the systems and processes already in place in an organisation to provide both proactive and reactive functionality. The proactive functionality helps promote accountability and reduce risk exposure while the reactive functionality provides the integrated tools to quickly resolve issues, rehabilitate injured workers, and meet statutory reporting requirements.

SafetySuite Business Applications are; incident prevention, rehabilitation case management, claims management for insured and self-insured organisations, in addition SafetySuite modules enable automation of weekly payments, automated integration into accounts payable, outsourced accounts payable and electronic submission in all Australian and New Zealand jurisdictions including Comcare Process extenders.

To ensure SafetySuite was designed in the most user friendly format, C-Net engaged safety professionals to assist in the design. This has ensured that the system is based on business processes, is easy to navigate, performs data validation according to localised rules, is flexible enough to allow for the configuration of industry specific requirements and information can be easily extracted and reported. SafetySuite is compliant with all relevant Australian legislative requirements, and includes any changes as part of the standard maintenance.

SafetySuite is written in SAP's programming language and resides within an organisation's existing SAP infrastructure. Therefore it requires no separate hardware, security, or support functions; and can be seamlessly integrated with other SAP and third party products using SAP's standard functionality. Standard SafetySuite maintenance provides upgrade paths to new versions of SAP.

SafetySuite data resides alongside SAP data to eliminate double entry and automate complex manual procedures. SafetySuite accesses previously entered information from existing SAP data to ensure data integrity. Reporting, notifications, and escalations use an organisation's existing corporate structures eliminating the need to store separate rules and structures.
