Introducing SafetySuite Litigation Support System (LSS)
C-Net's philosophy has always been to respond to our customers needs and whenever possible to address these needs by developing fully supported functionality in SafetySuite, so we are pleased to announce the beta release of a new module, SafetySuite Litigation Support System (LSS).
LSS can be run on its own, or integrated into the SafetySuite Claims Management System (CMS), Rehabilitation Case Management (RCM), or Incident Prevention System (IPS) Claims functionality. It provides the ability to establish different types of litigation each with its own unique security ac-cess to support a range of different types of litigation such as a reconsideration process or a Tribunal appeal. It has been integrated with the new correspondence functionality that allows each piece of integrated outgoing correspondence to be flagged as a formal determination, and therefore the source of a case. Financial outcomes from a case can then be paid from litigation into the payment area of an associated claim.
At a basic level it allows the creation of a unique case, which tracks case status, relevant appeal number, the person responsible, the people involved in the case, case outcomes, and the tracking of the details associated with each event (such as conciliation meetings, phone calls, court dates).
Of course, it comes fully loaded with all the standard SafetySuite functions such as unlimited addi-tional text types, configurable dates functionality, attachments, automated correspondence using standard letters, notifications, monitoring of tasks, and of course comes with a set of standard reports.
